FileMaker Servers Temporarily down at dbdom data center
Many, Many people were unable to access their FileMaker database solutions today when dbdom’s service failed.
We have seen an increased instability in dbdom after the new parent company, M9 Systems, acquired the company a few months ago. We are looking at our options.
Earlier this month, the web publishing engine failed on two of our servers after another outage, and their response was that they were not going to do anything about it until the new HP infrastructure was installed that failed earlier in the month.
Sorry for the Inconvenience…
…………….email from dbdom…………………
The owner- operators of dbdom.com, M9 Systems, have determined that a fibre channel storgage system failure has occured on windows operating systems hosts -
At this time, backup servers are being powered on, as the fibre channel server version are no longer available and cannot be restored -
PLease allow 24-48 hours for all servers to be powered on - if your server is not available and a backup server is not able to be powered on, we will open a ticket for your server individually with your options -
at this time we are not able to answer individual issues until the status of all backup servers is powered to on - we will send another general annoucement when all availbale servers are powered on -
we regret this incident and are coordinating with engineering and the owner-operators as rapidly as possible -
please direct support related questions to support@dbdom.com -
